Social services Ministry
God needs the collaboration of each person to transform the world in a world where life flourishes and where Christians and other Faiths work together to bring about greater justice, and solidarity by linking faith and social responsibility, taking into account the African holistic vision of life.

The Church, following the example of its founder, works to bring about the values of the Kingdom of God in our broken world. Christians inspired in the Gospel and in the Catholic Social Teaching take the Preferential Option for the Poor as a guideline to direct their action and ministry in order to promote a more just society where each person can develop fully all her potentialities, and where Peace and Justice reigns.

Those working in the Social Ministry believe that God invites each human person to transform the unjust structures into structures of life and grace, to side with the poor and marginalized in the promotion of human dignity, social justice, the common good and the building of communities.

In the reality of the Slums and Informal Settlements of Nairobi, the needs are enormous. Poverty, sickness, orphans, widows, handicapped persons need special care and attention. The Social Ministry takes care of the most marginalized of society, to help them to become active members of the community.
